The Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) is the convention venue managed by Barcelona de Serveis Municipals (B:SM) that has operated since 2000 within the Fòrum de Barcelona area, in the Sant Martí district of the city. Access, public transport and nearby hotels
CCIB is connected with central Barcelona and the airport by several high-capacity public-transport lines, with stops in the Fòrum district itself.
Metro: TMB Line 4 (yellow) serves the «Maresme | Fòrum» stop directly, with pedestrian access to the CCIB. We work in EUR ex-VAT. The standard 21% IVA is added on B2B invoices via FACe / SII (AEAT, Agencia Tributaria). Books and school supplies are at the reduced 10% rate (Ley 37/1992 del IVA). For EU intra-community clients with a valid VAT number we apply reverse-charge.

On-site logistics and booth delivery
The CCIB has differentiated loading docks in the Fòrum area, with mandatory prior appointment for build-up deliveries. We work to deliver 24-48 hours before opening, during the official build-up — major congresses such as EADV or ESMO authorise two to three days of build-up, shorter events one day. The shipping label includes: exhibitor name, booth and hall number, order reference, package count, weight, and a stand-side contact (ID / name / mobile).
For events with mandatory accreditation (EADV, ESMO, EHA), the carrier must be registered in the organiser's build-up access list. That coordination is the exhibitor's or their event agency's responsibility, not ours.
For deliveries to the team hotel block (Hotel SB Diagonal Zero, Hilton Diagonal Mar, Hotel Barcelona Princess), delivery happens the day before the team arrives, with margin for hotel reception to validate bulky packages.
Standard Madrid-to-Barcelona shipping is 24 h via SEUR Classic 24h, MRW Urgente 24 or GLS Spain BusinessParcel. For tight deadlines we recommend DHL Express España with delivery before 10:00 or 12:00.
