The trade-offs, stated rather than hidden

These five guides are the ones we send when a buyer tells us they have read enough vendor pages. Each covers one area in depth instead of skimming the whole field. Branded apparel is about fabric, fit, decoration and the working life of a print. Corporate merchandise covers the category itself: what the product families are, what each one is good for and where the unit cost sits. Event merchandise is about the logistics of a dated event. Multi-language rollouts cover the artwork, labelling and packing work of running one programme in several markets.

They are written for the buyer who has to make a decision and then defend it, which means the trade-offs appear on the page rather than being quietly omitted: the point at which a heavier fabric stops being worth the money, why a blanket is cheaper per impression but weaker per year, why a full-colour print on a dark garment is not the same offer as screen printing. Where a recommendation is a house preference rather than a rule, the guide says so.

Questions about the definitive guides

Are these guides kept up to date?

Yes, when a rule or a price band changes materially. The date of the last revision appears on each page.

Can we use these guides internally?

Yes. Send them to whoever else touches the brief. They are written to be useful without us.

Do you cover pricing in detail?

We cover the pricing structure and the cost drivers. Current price bands come with a quotation, because they move with volume, fabric and decoration.
