One programme, several sets of constraints

A programme that runs in more than one European country is one programme with several sets of constraints. The production may sit in one country and the recipients in six. The duty treatment differs, the e-invoicing differs, the language of the label differs, and the delivery promise made to the recipient has to be realistic in each market. These twenty comparisons set out what actually changes between Spain and each of the other markets we ship to.

Each comparison covers the same ground, so the pages can be read side by side: the production route and its lead time, the duty and import treatment for the destination, the invoicing system the buyer has to receive, the language and labelling requirements, the delivery expectation, and the cost of splitting one order across several countries. Where the answer is that the difference is small, the page says so plainly, because a buyer choosing between two markets benefits from knowing that most of the differences are administrative.

Questions about cross-border orders

Is one European order cheaper than several national ones?

Usually yes, because production and setup are shared. The saving is partly offset by the labelling and documentation work per destination.

Which countries are easiest to ship to from Spain?

The mainland European markets. The pages note the specific handling differences where they exist.

Do duties apply to our deliveries?

It depends on the Incoterm and on the destination. Each comparison page states the treatment we normally apply for that market.
