Material is where a budget holds or slips
Material is where a merchandise budget either holds or slips. A heavier fabric costs more per unit and lasts longer. A recycled shell costs more per unit and answers a different question. A cork backer costs a little more and does not survive a dishwasher. These thirty-five pages set out what each material actually is, how it behaves in use, what it does to the unit cost and which certification it carries.
The specifications are practical rather than promotional. Each page gives the weight, the composition, the care instruction, the printing and embroidery behaviour, the common failure mode and the certified source where one exists. The recycled and certified options receive the same detail as the standard ones, including the cases where a certificate does not cover the finished product and has to be read carefully. Where a material has a short life in a particular use, the page says so plainly.

Questions about materials
Which material holds a print best?
It depends on the decoration as much as on the fabric. The material pages state the printing and embroidery behaviour for each option so the pair can be judged together.
Do the certified materials carry a certificate?
Where a certificate exists it is scoped to the material and the mill, and the page names it with its validity period. We do not extend a material certificate to a finished product it does not cover.
Can we get a material that is not listed here?
Usually, yes. Most of the range is sourced to order and we work with mills across Europe and Portugal. Give us the specification and we will come back on it.
