How to track a shipment — corporate merch in Spain
From the moment boxes leave the Madrid hub to proof-of-delivery at your office: 7 carriers, one consolidated dashboard, and escalation contacts when a parcel drifts off schedule across mainland, Balearic, Canarias or EU.
Step 1 — Receive your tracking pack
At pickup we email a tracking pack: AWB number(s), carrier (SEUR / NACEX / MRW / DHL Express / UPS / GLS / Correos Express), expected delivery per address, link to carrier portal, our internal job number. Sent within 2 h of courier pickup at the Madrid hub.
Step 2 — Use the carrier portal
SEUR (seur.com/es), NACEX (nacex.es), MRW (mrw.es), DHL Express (dhl.com/es-es), UPS (ups.com/es/es), GLS (gls-spain.es), Correos Express (correosexpress.com). Scan events: collected → in-transit → out-for-delivery → delivered with POD signature.
Step 3 — Split shipments to multiple addresses
If we split to N offices in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Málaga, Palma) each address has its own AWB. The tracking pack maps AWB → ship-to → recipient → ETA. Bulk download POD signatures from our customer portal.
Step 4 — Canarias and EU cross-border
Canarias: special IGIC 7% regime, customs declaration required even though within Spain. 3–5 day delivery via SEUR or Correos Express, DUA documentation prepared. EU cross-border: no customs, CMR with the load, copy emailed within 24 h. Non-EU: CMR + EUR.1 + commercial invoice.
Step 5 — Proof of delivery
POD with recipient signature emailed automatically. For VIP gift drops add a geo-tagged photo (+5€/address). POD archive retained 7 years for tax compliance.
Step 6 — Escalation
If a parcel sits at the same status >48 h we open a tracer. Escalation contacts: account-managed lines at SEUR / NACEX / DHL / MRW for our hub. 95% resolved within 24 h. If lost: full replacement at our cost (insurance up to 1 000€ included).
FAQ — tracking shipments from Spain
Single tracking dashboard?
Yes — for accounts shipping >100 parcels/year we provision a portal with all AWBs across carriers in one view.
Recipient not at the address?
SEUR retries next day, then holds at the SEURNow or service point for 5 days. DHL Express tries 3 times. "Leave with concierge" pre-set possible for office buildings.
Saturday delivery?
Yes — DHL Express, SEUR and NACEX offer Saturday delivery in Madrid and Barcelona at +30–50%.
Canarias / Ceuta / Melilla?
Customs declaration (DUA) required even from mainland Spain. SEUR and Correos Express handle this; 3–5 days transit. Confirmed at quote with IGIC / IPSI applied.
Direct booth drops?
For IFEMA Madrid, Fira Barcelona, Feria de Valencia, BEC Bilbao: our driver delivers direct to booth on setup day with hand-signed POD.
