Variable-data print for personalisation. Mandatory EU labels (care, washing, allergens, origin) standard.
Detailed FAQ — multi-language labelling
Languages required by Spanish law?
Castilian Spanish is mandatory under Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007). Some autonomous communities (Catalunya, Euskadi, Galicia) have co-official languages that may be required in addition for consumer-facing goods.
Catalunya, Euskadi, Galicia?
Catalunya: Català recommended for consumer goods sold to consumers there (Llei del Consum). Euskadi: Euskera in similar contexts. Galicia: Galego. For B2B gifts to employees this is rarely a strict requirement but often a brand expectation.
Variable data per recipient?
Yes — name, hire date, employee number, custom message. Lead time +1–2 days. Supplied via CSV; validated against character limits and Spanish-character support (ñ á é í ó ú ü).
Care symbols on textiles?
ISO 3758 care symbols printed or woven into inner label. Fibre composition and country of origin per EU Regulation 1007/2011.
Allergens on food gifts?
EU Reg 1169/2011 (FIC): 14 mandatory allergens in bold, ingredients descending, nutrition per 100 g, country of origin. Spanish + English at minimum.
"Made in Spain" labelling?
Yes — "Hecho en España" / "Made in Spain" on items genuinely produced here. For items only personalised in Spain we use "Personalizado en España" / "Decorado en España".
Braille / accessibility?
Available on request — pharma kits and inclusive merch. Embossed Braille per ISO 17049, +0.5–1.5€ per item.
Pricing?
Standard 2-language hangtag up to 250 chars included. Extra language 0.05–0.15€/unit. Variable data 0.20–0.50€/unit. Multilingual leaflets 0.25–0.80€.
Spain-specific labelling notes
Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 makes Castilian Spanish mandatory on consumer-goods labels; autonomous-community laws may add Català, Euskera or Galego; EU Regulation 1007/2011 governs textile fibre; EU Regulation 1169/2011 governs food. For B2B gifts the consumer rules do not strictly apply but most clients still want Spanish + English on every label as best practice. Verifactu invoice references GTIN of labelled SKUs.
