SBC Summit Lisbon is the reference autumn gathering for the online gaming, affiliate and platform-provider sector in southern Europe, and brings together each year operators, affiliate programmes and payment and platform providers in the Parque das Nações. The 2026 edition combines the exhibition halls of FIL with the MEO Arena multi-purpose arena in a format consolidated over several years. For brand teams the issue is not just printing the artwork: it is coordinating quantities by day (the audience is heaviest on the opening day and in the affiliate stand zone), pre-labelling by recipient tier (operators, affiliates, press), avoiding queues at the FIL loading dock where the production crew routes freight, and keeping margin for emergency restock at the stand when tote bags run out before the afternoon panels.

A typical brief that lands on our desk combines 220 GSM organic-cotton polos and T-shirts with screen print or embroidery of the operator or affiliate programme logo, softshell-style light layers for sales teams walking between FIL and the corporate hotel in Parque das Nações (Lisbon in late September stays mild but exhibition halls can run cool), caps for pitches in the open-air terraces, and aprons for hospitality staff at the operator dinners. For high-volume giveaways we usually recommend recycled-cotton tote bags with two-colour screen print, 500 ml stainless-steel bottles with single-colour engraving, A6 notebooks with recycled-paper cover, blue-ink pens with cardboard barrel, and thick-ribbon lanyards with metal clip and transparent credential holders for SBC badges. For lead-capture gifts we reserve 5 000–10 000 mAh power banks with integrated cable, wireless chargers, USB-C hubs, cork and bamboo desk sets, and in-ear headphones with charging case — handed out only in qualified conversations with affiliates and operators identified in the exhibitor CRM. VIP, operator and affiliate kits ship in boxes with engraved glass, pen and premium notebook for lead invited operators, numbered sets for invited payment leads, 12 L backpacks with padded compartment for technical press, and packaging with personalised card for the Latam delegations.

Production, VAT and delivery at FIL and MEO Arena

The SBC Summit Lisbon calendar leaves little margin: the average operator or affiliate programme locks the product list and quantities six weeks before doors open and needs a physical prototype approved four weeks before the late-September dates to avoid marking errors that get paid in reprints. We usually hold reserved stock in the Madrid hub for recurring pieces (white polos, tote bags, lanyards, bottles) that we can produce and deliver in 7–10 working days; for pieces with bespoke screen print (operator logo, affiliate programme name, brand domain) the window stretches to 10–14 working days. For VIP sets and gift boxes we recommend closing the order 4–5 weeks before so we can present a physical prototype to the client and validate packaging, engraving and personalised card against the live appearance of the brand identity.

The Lisbon leg is reserved for last-mile and emergency restock: when stock runs out before the afternoon panels we can ship a top-up from our partner warehouse in Parque das Nações with scheduled delivery to FIL in under 24 hours. The intra-Schengen flow does not require customs clearance and is coordinated with the loading authorisation published in the exhibitor manual; for lots arriving from outside the EEA the import customs declaration is processed by the client and stays out of our invoice.

The B2B invoice is issued in EUR with 21% VAT added, dispatched via FACe and the Suministro Inmediato de Información (SII) of the Agencia Tributaria (AEAT); for intra-EU clients with a valid VIES number reverse-charge applies without Spanish VAT; for Portuguese clients with a valid NIF number the invoice is issued with reverse-charge and VAT is self-assessed in Portugal. Each delivery is signed at destination and, on request, accompanied by a photo of the unload and the delivery note stamped by the exhibitor.

Recommended planning timeline

  1. 6–8 weeks before (mid August): lock the product list, quantities per day and per recipient tier, and marking method (screen print, embroidery, laser engraving, DTF).
  2. 4–5 weeks before (early September): approve a physical or production-grade sample from the Madrid hub, validate the operator logo against the live brand identity, and book the delivery window at FIL with prior appointment.
  3. 2–3 weeks before (mid September): close production, run quality control and apply recipient labelling (operators, affiliates, press).
  4. Event week (28 September build-up / 29 September – 1 October summit): deliver to the exhibitor's stand, to the corporate hotel in Parque das Nações or to the freight forwarder's warehouse in Lisbon; emergency restock from the Lisbon hub in under 24 h.

Frequently asked questions — SBC Summit Lisbon 2026

When and where does SBC Summit Lisbon 2026 take place?

SBC Summit Lisbon 2026 takes place 29 September – 1 October 2026 at FIL and MEO Arena (Parque das Nações, Lisbon), with stand build on 28 September, pre-conference day on 28 September 14:00–18:00 and summit closing on 1 October at 17:30. The official dates are confirmed on sbcevents.com/sbc-summit/; we use that reference for every shipment that cannot tolerate a date slip.

Can you deliver directly to the stand at FIL?

Yes, with a prior slot. The FIL loading dock has restricted loading windows (morning of 28 September) and requires a delivery note signed by the exhibitor; we recommend combining that delivery with backup stock at the corporate hotel in Parque das Nações or at our Lisbon warehouse for emergency restock during the summit.

What about operators bringing stock from outside the EEA?

We coordinate with the client's freight forwarder. We invoice in EUR and deliver the material to the forwarder's warehouse in Lisbon with the import customs declaration already processed by the client; the forwarder handles the clearance and the final delivery to FIL through the hall loading dock. For intra-Schengen shipments there is no customs clearance, only the loading authorisation from the exhibitor manual.
