Dubai Airshow is the largest aerospace and defence event in the Eastern hemisphere and runs every two years at Dubai World Central — Al Maktoum City, organised by Tarsus F&E LLC under the patronage of the Government of Dubai and the UAE Armed Forces. The show combines thematic halls (commercial aviation, defence, MRO, drones, space, business aviation), a daily flying display with the major demo teams, a static display with the new commercial and military platforms, a chalet zone for government delegations and premium OEMs, and a B2B GATM (Global Air Traffic Management) programme that pulls in civil and military aviation authorities from around the world. For European aerospace OEMs, NATO and Gulf-ally defence delegations, and MRO teams exhibiting platforms and services, the operational challenge is the mix of highly qualified audience (government delegations taking billion-dollar procurement decisions, aviation officers evaluating capability offers, MRO managers looking for maintenance partners), the reinforced security of the venue, and the need to differentiate a brand in an environment dominated by Tier 1 OEMs.
A typical brief that lands on our desk asks for EN ISO 20471 class 3 high-visibility vests with 3M Scotchlite reflective tape for booth staff in the static area and the flying displays, quick-dry technical polos for the account team walking the halls, EN ISO 11611 flame-retardant workshop coats for MRO technicians attending workshops, caps with sweatband for the outdoor crew in November, thick-ribbon lanyards with metal clip and NFC engraved with the OEM programme code for team accreditations (including officials of invited delegations), and premium merchandising sets for visiting authorities (brushed-metal pens, faux-leather A5 notebooks, cufflinks engraved with the programme claim, encrypted USBs with the technical manual of the OEM). The Madrid hub absorbs the full order, runs the production and ships by air (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or expedited maritime to a named consignee at DWC, the logistics-partner warehouse in Jebel Ali or the client's regional office in Dubai in 96–120 h with all customs paperwork cleared, including the 5% UAE VAT for DDP deliveries in the UAE.
Beyond technical apparel and premium kits, we also prepare batches of institutional merchandise aimed at government delegations and specialised press — OEM scale models engraved with the programme claim for visiting authorities, technical catalogues bound in four-colour print with maintenance and operation manuals, enamel-pin sets with the OEM fleet for collectors, and faux-leather gift boxes with curated Arabic coffee and premium dates for protocol gifts. For teams operating with defence delegations we also include printed technical reports with NATO-restricted classification in sealed packaging with a documented chain of custody. Every batch arrives pre-labelled by recipient and by classification level at the client hub at DWC, where the OEM's internal team handles the final distribution under the security officer's supervision.
