Automechanika Istanbul is the Turkish regional edition of the global Automechanika calendar operated by Messe Frankfurt together with the Turkish Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (TAYSAD) and consolidates Istanbul as the aftermarket hub for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. The Tüyap Fair combines halls segmented by product category (engine parts, transmission, electronics, workshop management, lubricants, accessories and tuning), a programme of technical workshops open to workshop professionals and demo areas of diagnostics, electrification and ADAS calibration. For European teams flying to the fair and for Turkish manufacturers exhibiting with EMEA delegations, the operational challenge is the mix of professional audience (independent workshops buying wholesale, distribution networks, OEMs, specialised technical press) and the need to differentiate a parts brand in an environment with thousands of similar operators.
A typical brief that lands on our desk asks for high-visibility vests with 3M Scotchlite reflective tape for booth staff working in demo areas with machinery, technical polos with anti-stain treatment for workshops, reinforced canvas workshop coats with a tool pocket for mechanics invited to workshops, caps with rear adjustment and curved visor for the account team walking the halls, thick-ribbon lanyards with metal clip and breakaway closure for every team member (including temporary staff of invited brands), and rechargeable LED flashlights with magnifier and UV light as a premium giveaway in the demos. The Madrid hub absorbs the full order, runs the production and ships by air (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or by expedited maritime to a named consignee at the Tüyap, the logistics-partner warehouse in Istanbul or the client's regional office in 72–96 h with all customs paperwork cleared, including ATR for European clients with a valid VIES number.
Beyond technical apparel and kits, we also prepare batches of professional workshop-oriented merchandise — compact multimeters with the operator logo for handover at demos, 32-piece precision screwdriver sets in a screen-printed case, torque wrenches with engraved scale, and organic-cotton technical T-shirts with the operator logo for wholesale-buying workshops. For teams operating with distribution networks we also include printed catalogues and technical manuals in four-colour print with the operator brand for handover at the wholesaler meetings. Every batch arrives pre-labelled by recipient and by audience at the client's hub at the Tüyap, where the operator's internal team handles the final distribution.
