First-week experience — week-1 onboarding merch sequence
Day-by-day week-1 sequence for new hires in Spain: Mon welcome card, Tue laptop & sleeve, Wed branded hoodie + bottle, Thu manager-gift token, Fri team-dinner kit. Coordinated from the Madrid hub.
Why a sequenced experience
Distributing welcome items over 5 days raises new-hire NPS by 22-38% vs a single day-1 dump (internal data, anonymised). Each day reinforces a culture pillar: Mon = mission, Tue = tools, Wed = team identity, Thu = manager relationship, Fri = belonging. Touch points produce shareable internal moments (Slack #wins channel, all-hands shout-out).
