IFX EXPO is one of the FX industry's flagship global gatherings, drawing brokers, liquidity providers, payment-service providers, technology vendors and the broader fintech ecosystem to Limassol each June. The Limassol edition is the year's Cyprus fixture, and for the FX brokers, PSPs and fintech platforms headquartered along the coastal business district it is the most important local conference on the calendar. The audience is a mix of regional brokers, payment-service teams, compliance officers, KYC/AML vendors and technology partners; most of them have already met before, but the merch programme is the calling card that introduces a new brokerage to a regional PSP, a regional PSP to an international liquidity provider, or a local compliance consultancy to a tier-1 broker's compliance officer.
A typical brief that lands on our desk combines 220 GSM organic-cotton polos with embroidery of the broker mark for booth staff and account managers walking the aisles, light layers for the often air-conditioned halls, recycled-cotton tote bags and 500 ml stainless-steel bottles with single-colour engraving for fast counter hand-out, thick-ribbon lanyards with metal snap and credential holders for the thousands of credentialed trade visitors, 5 000–10 000 mAh power banks with integrated cable for qualified leads from PSPs and brokers, and gift boxes with engraved glass, pen and notebook for VIPs and operators invited to dinners along the Limassol seafront. For European exhibitors flying from Madrid, Frankfurt or Amsterdam, the issue is not just printing the artwork: it is coordinating quantities by shift, pre-labelling by recipient tier, avoiding customs surprises on entry to Cyprus (intra-EU shipment, no customs duty but a CMR note is recommended), and keeping margin for emergency restock at the venue when stock runs out before noon of day two.
The operational advantage of an IFX EXPO programme shipped from Spain is the EU-to-Spain-to-Cyprus lane. Production runs on our Madrid hub with a 7–10 working-day window for stock items (white polos, tote bags, lanyards, bottles) and 10–14 working days for pieces with bespoke embroidery (broker logo, country of origin, stand number); air freight delivers to a Limassol consignee in 96–120 h via Larnaca LCA airport or direct seamair from Valencia/Algeciras consolidates in 5–7 working days to a Limassol logistics warehouse. For VIP sets and gift boxes we recommend closing the order 4–5 weeks before so we can present a physical prototype to the client and validate packaging, engraving and personalised card.
