Boimorto · A Coruña · Galicia · Late summer
For cultural delegations, sponsors, photography press and brand-activation teams that need coordinated apparel, giveaways, lead-capture gifts and protocol kits ready for the late-summer photographic and light-art cycle in Boimorto and the rural landscape of A Coruña.
The Festival de la Luz is a late-summer photographic and light-art event that takes place in Boimorto, a small municipality in the interior of A Coruña province. The festival grew around the idea of pairing contemporary photographic practice with the rural Galician landscape — stone farmsteads, the river crossings of the Tambre valley and the small Romanesque chapels that dot the parish network become the canvas for site-specific projects. Each edition commissions a small set of photographers and light artists who respond to a single curatorial brief, and the resulting pieces are installed across the casco of Boimorto and the surrounding parishes for one weekend of opening nights.
The programming is intentionally small and focused — three to ten projects per edition, with each project running across two or three locations. The audience is layered: regional photography press from A Coruña and Santiago, contemporary-art programmers from Madrid and Barcelona, festival directors from other European light-art events, regional cultural sponsors who pair the festival weekend with B2B meetings across Galicia, and an institutional public that uses the festival week to convene across the comarca. Sponsorship is usually structured around specific projects, which means brand-activation teams often plan merch per installation site rather than for one venue.
The festival works with a parallel programme of artist talks and open studios, hosted in the afternoon at the Boimorto cultural centre and a small cluster of restored farmhouses. The night-time programme — projections, light walks and evening concerts — runs across three evenings and draws a local Boimorto public alongside visitors from Santiago, A Coruña and Lugo.
For cultural delegations, sponsors and brand-activation teams the practical merch brief is well defined: evening apparel for the night-time projections, public giveaways during the open-studio afternoons, lead-capture gifts for invited programmers and photography press, and protocol kits for visiting artists and institutional guests. The operational challenge is coordinating delivery across a rural municipality with several installation sites and very specific evening windows for the projections.
Corp-Merch works as an external supplier with cultural delegations, sponsors and communications staff who need apparel, gifts and kits ready for the festival weekend. Our role is coordination, production and fulfilment for participating teams. We do not organise or speak for the entity that promotes the festival.

Screen-printed lanyards with badge holders, festival programmes in slipcases, refillable bottles and pocket notebooks for fast hand-out during the open-studio afternoons and the projection nights.
Compact power banks, charging cables and desk accessories reserved for qualified conversations with invited photographers, contemporary-art programmers and regional cultural sponsors.
Premium notebooks, drinkware and compact gift boxes assembled by recipient tier and delivered by name to hotel blocks in Arzúa or Melide or the festival office, with optional Queixo do Cebreiro selection for adult recipients.
Before production starts we lock down artwork, quantities and consignee details. Most sponsors run two parallel delivery routes — one to a sponsor warehouse or a hotel block in Arzúa or Melide, another to a named on-site consignee at the Boimorto cultural centre — and confirm dock windows with the festival team in advance. Boimorto is well connected by road from the Madrid hub (A-6 motorway through Castilla y León and Lugo, around 5h to Melide and then 15 minutes to Boimorto) and from the A Coruña hub (around 45 minutes on the AC-840), so production cycles of 7–10 business days are realistic for stock items with screen-print or embroidery. For embroidered series with custom packaging and bilingual Spanish-English labels we recommend starting 4–5 weeks ahead.
Corp-Merch production runs from our Madrid hub with carriers experienced in Galician distribution. For short runs below MOQ 50 we default to embroidered sets with a personalisation surcharge; for longer runs we scale to silk-screen printing or embroidery depending on the substrate. B2B invoices are issued in EUR with 21% VAT itemised and reported via FACe or the AEAT SII system for Spanish-registered clients with a NIF; intra-community clients holding a valid VIES number use the reverse-charge mechanism without Spanish VAT; clients outside the EU are invoiced citing the relevant article of the EU directive.
Standard lead time is 5–8 working days; rush is 3 days with a 35% surcharge. A safe margin to receive the order in Boimorto without stress is 10 calendar days before the opening night. Each delivery is confirmed with a signed delivery note and, on the client's request, with a photo of the material unloaded at the named consignee.
The late-summer edition runs across the third weekend of September, with the night-time projections clustering around Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Exact dates and the daily programme are confirmed by the organising entity on the official channels of the Concello de Boimorto and partner media.
Yes, provided the festival team confirms the dock window, vehicle access and named consignee. The cultural centre sits inside the casco of Boimorto, so windows are coordinated with the local police in advance for the larger deliveries.
Yes. Many sponsors split the shipment between the festival office, a hotel block in Arzúa or Melide (Hotel Restaurante Xaneiro, Pousada de Arzúa, Hotel Casa Benilde) and the festival dressing rooms. Santiago de Compostela is also reachable in under an hour for the institutional guests. We confirm each address with the local organisation before shipping.
